Communities
Tenants (a tenant is a community) lists every community on the platform with its plan, usage and billing state. Open one to see its usage, change its plan and limits, or enter it with a support session. Every platform role can read the list and the plan view; changing a plan needs the operator.
The list
A filter box matches the community name or address. The header counts "N communities on the platform".
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Community | Name and address (the short name used in the panel and the free website address). |
| Plan | The plan key (free, community, pro, or internal for the platform's own community). Red when the community is over a quota. |
| Usage | "N/limit attached, N/limit hosted, N/limit members" (no limit shown means unlimited). |
| Billing | The billing status (or "None"), plus chips described below. |
| Created | Creation date. |
| Chip | Meaning |
|---|---|
| servers stopped | The hosted servers were stopped for non-payment (hover for the date). |
| retention review | The subscription was canceled 90 days ago; nothing is deleted automatically, an operator decides. |
A community's page
Usage
One meter per quota: attached servers, hosted servers, members (pending invites included) and active quests. "Not on this plan" marks a quota of 0. An "Over quota (nothing removed)" line appears when a community is above a limit, for example after a downgrade.
Plan and overrides (operator)
The form Plan and overrides lets the operator set the plan and adjust any limit or feature for this community alone.
| Part | Options |
|---|---|
| Plan | Any plan on sale, or the community's current one. |
| Limit overrides (Attached servers, Hosted servers, Members, Activity history, Active quests) | Plan default, Unlimited, or Custom with a number. |
| Feature overrides (Attach your own servers, Hosted servers, Settings locks, Player store, Priority support, Custom domain) | Plan default, On or Off. |
| Reason | Required, at least 3 characters (up to 500). Recorded in the community's activity log. |
Click Save plan. A plan chosen here becomes an operator override: the page says "Set by an operator. Renewals of the plan the community pays for keep it; a plan the community buys or switches to replaces it." Return to billing ends the override so the plan follows the community's subscription again (free without one); it also needs a reason.
Other roles see "Plan overrides are made by the platform operator."
Typical uses
Grant a Pro trial to a partner community (plan override), give one community a third attached server (limit override Custom 3), or switch on Custom domain on a Community plan (feature override).
Support sessions
Enter support mode on a community's page, or opening any community address when you are not a member, shows "Support access to community". Starting a session asks for a Reason (3 to 500 characters). The reason and every action taken afterwards are written to the community's Activity log, marked as support. A banner reads "Support access to community. Every action is recorded." with Exit.
What you can do depends on your platform role: see Roles and capabilities. Starting a session does not change anything by itself. Be sure the community owner has asked for help, and keep the reason specific.
Status and suspension
A community is active or suspended. A suspended community:
- cannot be reached by its members (the panel answers "Tenant suspended") and its player site and sign-in stop working;
- no longer counts for the support Discord staff roles and is not listed in the directory;
- is counted in the Suspended number on the Dashboard.
The panel has no suspend button today: the operator applies the status directly. Nothing is deleted by suspension. Deleting a community is reserved to the operator and is not offered in the panel.
Create a community for someone
Communities are created by their owners, see Signup codes. The operator can create one without a code. An account owns up to 3 communities by default.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Save plan disabled | Write a reason of at least 3 characters. |
| "Plan overrides are made by the platform operator" | Only the operator can change plans. |
| Community says "plan limit" but you raised it | The override saves per quota; check the Limit overrides row and its mode. |
| Over quota after a downgrade | Nothing is removed; the community cannot add more until it is back under the limits. |
