Player guide

Every RustyThrones community runs its own website (for example play.rustythrones.com, RustyThrones' own community) next to its Rust servers. The website is where you sign in with Steam, check your gems, spend them in the store, follow quests and the journey, and see where you stand on the leaderboard. This guide explains each part of that website.

The short version

  1. Sign in with Steam. That creates your player account and gives you a one-time 1,000 gem Registration Reward.
  2. Play on a server from the Servers page. Your playtime and fights are tracked automatically.
  3. Earn gems through quests, the journey, seasons and referrals, or buy them.
  4. Spend gems in the store and the tech tree, then type /kit in game.

Communities choose their sections

A community owner can switch off the Store, Quests, Leaderboard, Maps, About and Referral sections of its website. A switched-off section disappears from the navigation and its address sends you back to the home page. If a page described here is missing on your community, it was turned off there.
