Servers and connecting
Servers lists the game servers of the community with live status. Anyone can open it.
Server cards

| Name and tags | Server name and its tags (wipe cycle, region, gameplay, ...). |

| Play | Launches Rust through Steam and connects (online servers only). |
| Facts | Map type, Size, Seed (links to the map page), Wiped (how long ago), Next (time to the next wipe). |
| Calendar | Click the wipe row to open the Wipe Schedule. |
Connect to a server
Either:
- Click Play. Steam starts Rust and connects. If Rust is already running, the page tells you to press F1 and paste the copied command ("Launching Rust... already in game? Press F1 and paste: connect ip:port").
- Or click the connect line to copy
connect ip:port, start Rust, press F1 and paste it.
Wipe schedule
The calendar shows the month with every planned wipe. Each is labelled:

|---|---|
| Force | Force wipe: the monthly full reset that also updates the game. |
| Full | Full wipe: map and player data (blueprints, bundles, tech tree unlocks) reset. |
| Map | Map wipe: new map, your progress kept. |
Below the calendar the month's wipes are listed with date and countdown. Skipped occurrences are marked Skipped. "No wipes scheduled this month." when none.
What a wipe means for you
What exactly is reset is decided by the community's wipe cleanup settings. The defaults are:
| Wipe | What resets for you |
|---|---|
| Map wipe | Kit usage counters (you can claim your kits again), custom kits you already used, and access to custom kits. Bundles and tech tree unlocks stay. |
| Full wipe | Kit usage and used custom kits, owned bundles and their groups, store kit access, tech tree unlocks (tiers and researched items), wipe playtime and wipe stats. A new leaderboard starts. |
| Force wipe | Every custom kit (used or not) is deleted and referral kit uses reset. |
Gems are never reset by a wipe.
Research is closed for 4 hours after a wipe (see Tech tree). Direct supply drops are disabled for 2 hours after a wipe (Store).
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| "No servers online" | The community has no server up; check back soon. |
| Play does nothing | Steam is not installed or the browser blocked the link. Copy the connect command instead. |
| Server shows Wiping or Updating | It is restarting; wait a few minutes. |
